Case Study - AMD

Executive summary

AMD needed a consistent, repeatable way to communicate technical value to busy business and IT audiences. Across a multi-asset library, we produced a cohesive set of long-form and snackable content formats across content pillars such as: eBooks, infographics, article layout templates, and a suite of micrographics designed for fast consumption on web and social. Each piece balances “why it matters” storytelling with scannable structure, clear hierarchy, and data-forward proof points.

Challenge

AMD’s subject matter is inherently complex – benchmarking methodologies, hybrid collaboration requirements, chip-level security, IT fleet manageability, and sustainability goals – all targeted at very specific personas. The challenge was to make these topics:

  • Easy to skim and digest, without losing authority or detail
  • Reusable (or repurposable) across channels
  • Visually consistent within AMD’s brand
  • Available for access with AMD’s DAM and available for download

Beyond that, our system of content needed to be templated to quickly produce and streamline the approval process to ensure swift delivery of breaking product news in an always-evolving industry.

Solution

We built a cohesive content system: a repeatable visual language and templated layouts that could flex across formats while staying unmistakably AMD.

  • Long-form anchor: eBooks – Our eBooks use chaptered navigation, bold section openers, and a “framework” approach to turn a big topic into a guided, skimmable journey.
  • Decision guidance at a glance: One-page infographics – Leaning on structured blocks, icon-led sections, and step-based flows to make topics instantly digestible.
  • Editorial clarity with offline accessibility: Article layout templates & PDF downloads – Simple web-page emulated article layouts formatted with: strong hero, clear subheads, and visual framing, intended to be downloaded (or sent directly) to specific customer personas.
  • Scroll-stopping proof points: Micrographics – Designed for quick consumption, typically pairing a bold headline with a single “hook” statistic or comparison, used to visually break up blocks of text within article bodies, or deployed as standalone gateway assets on social media designed to immediately capture attention.

Deliverables
  • Long-form eBooks
  • Long-form infographics
  • Article templates
  • Micrographics

Results

The work clearly delivers measurable marketing value in how it’s constructed and the process built around producing content at scale across pillars, personas and distribution avenues by ensuring:

  • Information is consistently presented in scannable frameworks (steps, comparisons, checklists, “best practices”), reducing cognitive load for IT and business decision-makers.
  • The same core ideas are expressed as long-form narrative (eBook), single-page decision aids (infographics), and high-velocity proof-point tiles (micrographics), enabling efficient campaign repurposing.
  • Strong hierarchy, restrained palettes, and “data-first” layouts reinforce AMD’s authority, especially on topics like security and manageability, where trust is the product.
